Answer» Mrs.Pumphrey send daily 2 dozens of fresh round eggs and brandy and bottle if wine for Tricki but Tricki did not need these things to be given away. So these things were consumed by the doctor and his partners. Thus he tempted Tricki as a permanent guest.
