Why the sun look like red |

Answer» During morning or evening the sun appears to be red because during this period the rays have to travel a long distance through horizen and during this rays having less wavelength are scattered like violet blue and rays having long wavelength do not scatters like red which finally enters in our eye and we see sun in red colour during sunset and sunrise.Thanks The sun is look like a red big ball due to the scattering of red light and there are two gases are present in sun ;Hydrogen and Helium. When they are fused, then red or orange will scattered in universe. Because the light which come to us is of longer wavelength hence it appears red or orange |
