WINDPIPE i.e. TRACHEA and Food pipe i.e. Oesophagus are DIFFERENT from each other. The trachea is used for breathing and it carries your breath from the nose or MOUTH to the lungs, while the Oesophagus is used to transport food and liquids from the mouth to the stomach.Trachea is an air passage to your lungs; esophagus is a food passage to your stomach
