why the reaction between nacl and agno3 is very fast while the reaction between H2 and o2 is slow give reason

Answer»

Completely diffrent types of reactions
the NaCl AGNO3 reaction is an precipitate reaction (you actually need water for this to work) this reaction is where the ions are in soloution so in water it is realy Na+, CL-, Ag2+ and NO3 2-. the two compounds you have their are soluble. however in soloution it is inevetible that Ag2+ ions and Cl- ions will BOND together to form AgCl2 a non-soluble compound so it precipitates and forms as a solid at the bottom of the container.
the H20 and C02 is an ionisation reaction i think. this is slow because this forms a very weak acid called CARBONIC acid were not all of the soloution actually ionizes hence it is slow
