Test cross- A test cross is a crossused to test whether an individual is homozygous ie pure or heterozygous ie hybrid. It is always crossed with a recessive PARENT.Every test cross is a back cross because in it F1 generation is crossed with one of the parent and is used to KNOW the genotype of F1 generation. |
