Why saturated carbon compound are less reactivevthan unsaturated carbon compound

Answer» Bonds are of 2 types π and sigma .π bonds are weaker as there is no electron belt between thecombining nucleus thus repulsion acts ,unlike sigma bond where electron cloud is present b/w nuclei thus attracting each other . Saturated hydrocarbon has sigma bonds whereas unSaturated hydrocarbons has π and sigma bonds .all atoms want to attain stability ,so unSaturated hydrocarbons breaks their π bonds to form sigma bonds and attain stability...?
Because in saturated carbons thier is only single carbon bond whereas in unsaturated carbon compounds thier are multiple bonds present between carbon carbom atom
Because unsaturated carbon compounds consist of weak bond and saturated of sigma bond
