Answer» Power sharing is good because it help to reduce the possibility of conflict between different social group. Power is important due to following reasons:- * It reduces the possibility of conflict between different groups.* It is the very spirit of democracy.* It helps in stability of political order. 1) Power sharing reduces the possibility of social conflict in a country. It ensures that both majority and minority can live together peacefully. Since, social conflicts leads to political instability, power sharing is a good way of ensuring stability in political order. 2) Power sharing is the very spirit of democracy. In democracies, power sharing is usually between those who are affected by its exercise and those who have to live by its effects. In such a society, power is always shared in some way or the other. People have the right to be consulted on how they have to be governed. A legitimate government is one wherein citizens through participation obtain a stake in the system.
