Answer» mammal and bird are warm blooded organism so they have maintain there body temperature so to maintain body temperature they need energy and energy can be maintain by proper supply of blood so if oxygenated and deoxygenated blood would mix so there will be not proper supply of blood Due to there complex body plan they require more oxygen as compared to aquatic animals and amphibians.So seprations ensures more supply of oxygen to the cells More oxygen means more energy |
