Why is the position of hydrogen not justified in the modern periodic table? |

Answer» Position of hydrogen is non justified as it shows similarities with alkali metals like Na, K etc in having 1 electron in OUTERMOST SHELL and also it shows similarities with halogen in TERMS of ELECTRONEGATIVITY. So it position could not be justified. |
