Newton's First LAW explains the 'Law of Inertia' i.e ''A BODY in motion remains in the STATE of motion unless an untill an external unbalanced force is applied to it''

Newton's Third law of motion states that "Every action has an equal, opposite and instantaneous reaction".

Newton's SECOND Law of of motion states that "When a force it applied to an body it accelerates in the same direction of force applied".

i.e Force= Mass × acceleration

RELATION BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND LAW FOR THIRD LAW IS THAT:-

  • When body was at rest (Inertia) it was in same state of motion because there was no external force applied to it.
  • According to second and third law the ''''every action has equal and opposite reaction''" and second Law states '"force is applied in the direction of force""
  • THEREFORE, when reaction of force takes in direction of force.

Thus first and third law when combined forms the second Law
