Pressure is INVERSELY proportional to Area, the more the area, the LESS the pressure and the less the area, the more the pressure. A sharp knife has less area, thus pressure applied will be more , and that's why it's easier to cut Vegetables with a sharp knife than a BLUNT knife , even if we apply same force.
