Why is division by zero not allowed? Explain using your knowledge of how division is related to subtraction. I just want a good explanation.

Coz if any number when divided by zero its RESULTANT is zero...

ALSO it does not follow the division algorithm..

LET me tell an example-

when 5 is divided by 0

the answer is 0

a/c to division algorithm..

dividend = quotient * divisor + remailder

but it does not follow this rule..


5 is not equal to - 5*0 +0
