Why is diffusion insufficient to meet the need of multicellular organism ? |

Answer» Because multicellular organism have not direct contact with environment. Unicellular organism have a single cell through which day eat and de do all the functions required by the body while multicellular organism have a complex body structure they have organs in them tissues in them cells in them so therefore multicellular organism not in direct contact with environment and therefore diffusion is not sufficient to meet the need of multicellular organism they need various process to meet their need example digestion of food is impossible without digestive system. multicellular organisms are not directly contact |
