why is current a scalar quantity???? not vector, eventhough current tells us the direction of for of electrons from positive to negative |

Answer» The ELECTRONS can FLOW either way through a wire depending which way around your positive and negative are. A SCALAR quantity doesn't havedirection, but current does becauseyou can change the direction of those little electrons in the wire and THUS thedirection the charge is moving! |
