Answer» Bcoz it doesnot contain H+ ion in gaseous state n even litmus paper is also dry So hydrogen gas is neutral to litmus paper. Hydrogen exists independently as hydrogen molecule (H2). It is a neutral molecule, therefore, it does not have any effect on the litmus paper. |
