Yama himself who had created this scenario to test the dharma of Yudhishira. Being satisfied with his answers he blessed him and disappeared. 10)Yudhishthir could please Yaksha because he had patience and was not arrogant like his brothers. He was ready to patiently answer the questions and did not brag about his identity like the others did. While Bhima and Arjuna threatened Yaksha and told him that they were the greatest warriors, Yudhishthir calmly listened to him and answered his questions. After getting answer to all his questions, Yaksha gave him the offer to bring one of his brother back to life. Yudhishthir chose Nakula, giving the reason that since the eldest son of Kunti was alive, the eldest son of Madri should also live. Pleased with his choice, Yaksha brought all his brothers back to life. |
