Answer» Because hcl require moisture to release h+ ions Because hcl is acid & it will only show its property in presence of H+ ions which are present in water HCL ionise in aqueous midium.Therefore dry HCL does not ionise to form H+ion. Bocoz it releases in aqueous solution |
