Answer» Stars are the point source of light when refraction occurs the light of the star fluctuates and as it is a point source of light it does not accommodate with the refraction of atmosphere so it appears to twinkle. The twikling of a star is due to atmospheric refraction of starlight .The starlight when enters the earth\'s atmosphere it undergoes refaction. |
