Answer» Shoots show positive phototropism due to accumultion of auxin pn darker side what about roots?how does it take place?
The stimuli in phototropism is light. When the plant part grow aginst the direction of stimuli, the tropism is said to be negative phototropism. The roots of the plant grows towards the soil which is opposite to that of light. Here, the plant part is growing against the direction of stimuli.
