Answer» It was raining softly.The poet asked the soft falling shower who he was.He was filled with wonder when he heard the rain answering his question.Here it should be noted that it\'s not the rain that answers the question but the poet has created a visual imaginary and used personification about how rain would answer.. Because rain is a non living thing and it can\'t talk with anyone else that is why poet get surprised when he gets answer from rain
