Answer» By addressing the time envious, Milton wants to indicate to the time when people are lost in vices. He uses envy as symbolical of other vices such as greed, selfishness etc. Therefore, he calls the time envious. समय को ईष्र्यालु कहकर सम्बोधित करने से मिल्टन उस समय की ओर संकेत करना चाहते हैं जबकि लोग दुर्गुणों में डूबे हुए हैं। वह ईष्र्या को लालच, स्वार्थ आदि अन्य दुर्गुणों के प्रतीक के रूप में प्रयोग करते हैं। इसलिए वह समय को ईर्ष्यालु कहते हैं। |
