Answer» There's very little heat transfer between the gas in the THERMOSPHERE and objects travelling through it as heat transfer only occurs when MOLECULES strike an object. Because there are few molecules, very little heat energy can be TRANSFERRED from the thermosphere to a SATELLITE. |
