Answer» We offer prayers to plants and animals because both are very important in ecosystem. Without plants there is no scope of life on earth and also plants and animals are interdependent. Hence the worship both plants and animals. Example : (i) Peepal tree gives lot of oxygen and gives place to many animals. (ii) Cow is worshipped because it gives milk. It is wholesome food for new born babies who are lack of mother feed.
