Why do two streamlines never intersect each other ? |
| Answer» Solution :If two streamlines intersect each other, then at the points of intersection, we can draw two tangents to the two streamlines, which WOULD imply two DIFFERENT directions of the velocity of the PARTICLE at that point. But in a streamline any particle can move only in ONE DIRECTION and hence two streamlines never intersect each other. | |
