Why do some animals lay hundreds of eggs at a time? |

Answer» Some animals such as frogs lay hundreds of eggs at a time because all of this eggs do not hatch. Some of these gets EATEN by small aquatic animals such as FISH while some of them cannot resist the CHANGE in ENVIRONMENT. Therefore it is neccesary to lay hundreds of eggs during external fertilization. |
