With two eyes you can determine which objects are close to you and which are further away. Within certain linits you can even judge the DISTANCE that they are from each other, or how much further from you is one, more than the other.
Having the ability to measure distance. We can also determine aproximately how far a moving will travel in a given number of seconds. We call this the ability to judge speed. This gives is the ability to catch a baseball.
With only one eye, we can not do any of these things, unless we move and take a second reading from a second location. But with two eyes we constantly measure our world from two locations. And it becomes so easy that we think nothing of it.
