Answer» Chips are flushed with nitrogen to prevent it from oxidation & rancidity ☺☺ The packet of chips are flushed with only nitrogen gas .This is because nitrogen is a antioxidant. It prevents the chips from being oxidised. If we flush the packets of chips with oxygen,then the chips react with oxygen and becomes rancid and the smell and taste of food change. Chips are flushed back of nitrogen gas to prevent it from rancidity To prevent from becoming rancid. |
