Answer» The lady in the figure was clad in a maroon saree. Mrs Malik thought that she never wore maroon saree. It was too loud for her taste. That’s why she suddenly thought that it was possible that the figure was not others. चित्रित महिला मरून रंग की साड़ी पहने हुए थी। श्रीमती मलिक ने सोचा कि उन्होंने तो कभी मरून साड़ी पहनी ही नहीं। मरून रंग उनकी रुचि के एकदम विपरीत भड़कीला दिखाई देता था। इसलिए अचानक उन्होंने सोचा कि हो सकता है कि ‘वह चित्र उनका (स्वयं का) न हो। |
