Hence when Teddy henfrey, the clock –jobber, visited her bar, Mrs. Hall Thought it to be a good opportunity to visit the guest’s room on the pretext of getting the parlour clock repaired. Her guest permitted this interference because it was going to be of some advantage to him, too. Although he did not hesitate to express his displeasure at the intrusion still he allowed Teddy to mend the clock.Thus, Mrs.Hall was successful in entering the strange man’s room with assistance from teddy Henfrey and without facing any objection from her guest. |
