Why did Mr. Crocker Harris do after Taplow laugh at the joke that he made to the class ?? |
| Answer» Crocker-Harris\'s joke was a classical joke, and it involved Latin as well. Taplow could not understand Latin well, and neither could any of his classmates. Yet he laughed at the joke because he was being polite, he felt a bit sorry for Crocker-Harris for having made a poor joke, and also because none of his other friends laughed at it. | |
