Answer» Solution : When two pairs of contrasting characters were studied simultaneously, it was FOUND that two TRAITS are inherited independent of each other. (b) SINCE in F1, all are heterozygous for both traits, so yellow and round are dominant traits. These traits are not inherited together and hence there are two new recombinants.
