Why did he set the landlords house on fire

Answer» Griffin’s landlord did not\xa0like him and wanted to eject him from his house, so Griffin retaliated by\xa0setting fire to his landlord’s house. To escape from there he swallowed a rare drug which he had just discovered. This drug could make the human body transparent like a sheet of glass and invisible. After taking this drug, Griffin became invisible and easily escaped from there. But it was mid-winter season and so he could not live without clothes anymore. So he entered a big London store. There he fitted himself with a few warm clothes. After this, he enjoyed food, coffee, wine, and meat. In the end, he slept on a pile of quilts. But the next morning when the assistants came and saw him, they chased him in order to\xa0catch him. Thus once again Griffin had to take off his newly-bought\xa0clothes to become invisible once again in the chill January air. Then, he moved towards a theatrical company to get a hat and clothes that would hide the empty space above his shoulders.\xa0
