Why current is flow in metal not in non metal? |

Answer» If u look than a answer can be that metals have least restivity than non metals hence they are good conductor Metals is good conductor of heat and electricity because of free mobile electrons in it.Non metal cannot conduct electricity Because they have no Free mobile electron. We all know that in solid electrons are carrier of electricity while ions are carrier in liquids.but note that some non-metal can conduct electricity like graphite an allotrope of carbon. |
