Why are not adding water to concentrated acid? |
| Answer» Water should not be added directly to any concentrated acid because there may be a sudden change in temperature of the mixture formed and may cause unfortunate accidenys like burns on the skin.. Etc.. We can add concentrated acid in water very slowly by continuously moving yhe test tube and mixing the mixture. | |
