Answer» Answer: The majority of people in India lives in rural areas. So, more people are involved in small SCALE and house hold industries. This is because the literacy Level in India is very low, so they could not compete with the modern and globalised industries in the present scenario. They are involved more in unorganized sector. So, they don't get fixed wages. The government plays a very IMPORTANT role: They PROVIDE loans and subsidies so that they can engage in self employment. They inculcate world class skill to this people, so that they can compete with large scale industries. Providing job oriented courses can proceed in this direction.
