Uttar Pradesh LIES in the sugar cane producing area and is the LARGEST producer of it as this area has fertile alluvial-soil. (ii) Well maintained roads, good network of railways help in TRANSPORTATION, which is very ESSENTIAL in the case of sugar industry. |
