| Answer» Mrs.Dorling was an impolite and discourteus woman. She pretends tthat she does not recognise the narrator even when she does and does not possess even the basic etiquttes as she shows no concern of the cause and the distance that the narrator must have travelled to meet her.She shows signs of utter ignorance and cold heartedness. She can also be called a betrayer as she had killed the trust and the belief that the narrator\'s mother had over her. She used all the prized possessions which at a point of time were cherished and taken care of in sucha reckless manner that the narrator was completely broken and left without the belongings and hoped to forget the address. | |
