| Answer» The king after knowing that the fault was his only. He told to call the wisest men. The wisest men considered the guilty of the king. And every blamed person was made to stand in front of the rope which was set up for hanging. The king was ideal person whose height matched with the rope hung there. Finally he was hanged and the audience was saying "long live the king" (well actually he is dying ?) (irony is used here) | |
