Answer» Answer: Each microsporocyte ( a microspore MOTHER CELL ) UNDERGOES meiosis, forming four haploid microspores, each of which can eventually develop into a pollen grain. Pollen GRAINS or the male gametes are formed in higher group of plants or which are termed as Spermatophytes i.e Gymnosperms and Angiosperms. |
