As we KNOW that,

→ Dividend = Divisor × quotient + remainder.

we have given that,

  • Dividend = 1760
  • Divisor = 14
  • remainder = 10 .

Putting all values we GET,

→ 1760 = 14 * quotient + 10

→ 14 * quotient = 1760 - 10

→ 14 * quotient = 1750

dividing both sides by 2,

→ 7 * quotient = 875

dividing both sides by 7 now,

→ quotient = 125.

Therefore,

→ quotient can be written as :- (Dividend - remainder) / Divisor

→ quotient = (1760 - 10) / 14

→ quotient = (1750/14)

→ quotient = 125.
