What will happen if human red blood cells are placed in hypertonic salt/sugar solution? |

Answer» HELLO friend...!! •RBC ( red blood cells) when if it is PLACED in salt solution that has high concentration ( hypertonic in NATURE) , the cell starts to shrink. • it is because of exosmosis process • the movement of water from the cell towards the external ENVIRONMENT is TERMED as exosmosis. _________________________________ hope it helps...!!! |
