1.	What were the features of the peasantry system?
Answer» Under this system, the land was measured and based on the fertility and irrigation facilities, the tax amount was determined. 50% of the value of the agricultural produce was fixed as the tax which was very high. The tax amount was decided periodically. During floods or drought, even if the crops failed, the farmers had to pay the tax.
