What was dilemma that Andrew faced after the baby was born? |

Answer» After having delivered a stillborn child, Andrew found himself torn in conflict. The dilemma was to whether try and resuscitate the child first or to turn his attention to the mother, who was herself in a desperate state. Andrew instinctively gave the child to the nurse and frantically began his effort to restore the mother\'s ebbing strength. It took him some time and effort and finally the mother\'s heart strengthened. Then he moved his attention back to the child who lay pulseless under the bed. After the baby was born, Andrew was faced with the dilemma whether to attend to the baby which was still-born in order to try to resuscitate it or to turn his attention rather to the mother, Susan Morgan, who was in a desperate state of health because of loss of blood and labour pain. |
