1.

What is the volume of mercury in cm3 if mass of mercury is 1 kg, and density is 13.6g/cm3

Answer»

ANSWER:

density = mass/volume

density = 13.6 or 136/10 g/cm³

mass = 1KG or 1000g

therefore, LET volume be = x cm³

so, the equation will be :-

=> 136/10 = 1000/x

=> 136x = 10000

=> x = 10000/136

=> x = 73.53 cm³ ( approx )

HOPE it helped :)
