Answer» Out of 100% Water bodies on the earth, 97% is occupied by the oceans, and only 3% is comprised by fresh water, again out of this 2% is occupied by snow lands and only 1 % is taken by freshwater bodies e.g. ponds, lakes, rivers etc.
