What is the role of duodenum in human digestion

Answer» The mamufacturation of the small intestine is done by DUODENUM, JEJUNUM and ILEUM. The chyme is recieved by the duodenum along with several enzymes like Pancreatic Amylase, Trypsin and Lipase from the pancreas and it also the Bile juice from the liver and helps in the absorption of food.
Small intestine is made up of three regions namely duodenum, jejunum and ileum. Partially digested food called the chyme from the stomach is received by the duodenum. Duodenum also receives bile form the liver, enzymes from pancreas and secretes some enzymes on its own.
