Each stomata is surrounded buy two kidney shaped guard cells .guard cells have a number of chloroplast when guard cells become turgid then the stomatal pore opens in that takes place and exchange of gases and when the guard cells shrink then the stomatal p o r e closes Each stomata is surrounded by two kidney shaped gurad cell. Guard cell have a number of chloroplast. The structure of guard cell help in opening and closing of stomata.
