Answer» James mill DIVIDED indian history to 3 parts which are the hindu rule, muslim rule and colonial rule.the main problem here is that during the hindu rul there were many small muslim KINGDOMS in india and during the muslim rule there were many rajput kingdoms in RAJASTAN and maharashtra.in the colonial era many kingdoms were ALLOWED to continue rule as long as they payed tribute.so the main isssue here is that there was NO purely relegoius era. So we must categorize indian history as ANCIENT,medeival and modern. |
