What is the probability that a two digit number selected at random will be a multiple of 3 and not 5?

Answer»

HEY MATE HERE YOUR ANSWER IS...

The smallest TWO digit number is 10 and the largest is 99 so there are 99 - 10 + 1 = 90 two digit NUMBERS. Of these 90 numbers the following are multiples of 3 but not of 5:

12
18, 21, 24, 27
33, 36, 39, 42
48, 51, 54, 57
63, 66, 69, 72
78, 81, 84, 87
93, 96, 99

There are 24 numbers in the LIST so the probability is 24/90 = 4/15.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.. ✌ ✌
