Solution :-We know that, Power = Work Done ÷ Time.Work Done = m. g. h.Put the values.➛ Work Done = 100 × 10 × 20.➛ Work Done = 1000 × 20.➛ Work Done = 20000 Joules.Now, Substitute the Values in the Power formula.➛ Power = 20000 ÷ 10.➛ Power = 2000 Watt or 2 Kw.Therefore, Power of the pump = 2 Kw.
